Reducing losses and increasing profits for restaurant group

The Senior Leadership team were looking at how they could improve the group's overall performance and identify the restaurants that were doing it right compared to the ones that were not. They wanted to identify if they needed to close any restaurants down or which teams could be focused on to allow them to share best practices.

Utilising the insights solution we created, the senior leadership team were able to see how well all of their restaurants were doing and easily compare them to each other. It also enabled restaurant managers to see how well they were doing compared to a like-for-like date.

£30m reduction in losses through the closure of a specific brand of restaurants and a further 60 restaurants. Also enabled them to improve service in all other restaurants by sharing best practices from the highest-performing restaurants based on sales and customer experience.
